Biography
Xiumin Du received her PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017. After postdoctoral positions at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton and the University of Maryland, she joined the faculty of Northwestern in 2020.
Du works in harmonic analysis and its interactions with partial differential equations and geometric measure theory. She was named an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow in 2021. Her work was recognized by an invitation to speak at the 2022 International Congress for Mathematicians. In 2023, Du received an NSF CAREER award.
