Contour integral of one variable in the complex plane for a holomorphic function is well known and loved. We will discuss its two applications: 1. Integral representation of solution to (some special) ordinary differential equations. 2. Asymptotic expansion for integral of type $\int a(z) exp( N*f(z)) dz$, where N goes to infinity. Lots of examples and pictures will be given.
