This talk will be an introduction to Bogomolov's Program of Anabelian Geometry, as developed by Bogomolov, Tschinkel, Pop, Topaz, and the speaker. We will provide applications of Bogomolov's program - and in particular the technique of geometric reconstruction - to geometric Galois actions and Grothendieck-Teichmüller theory.
