This talk is meant as a gentle introduction to oscillatory integrals and the method of stationary phase, a key tool in evaluating such integrals. Time permitting, I will show explain how Feynman path integrals, which are special cases of oscillatory integrals, solve the free schrodinger equation in R^n and how it relates to genus expansions and Feynman diagrams.
