Title: Quivers and Quantum Field Theory
Speaker: Clay Cordova
Speaker Info: Harvard University
Brief Description:
Special Note:
Abstract:

Quivers naturally describe quantum mechanical systems of interacting particles. Representations of quivers can be used to determine the spectrum of bound states of these particles and wall-crossing formulas can be used understand particle decays. I will review the relationships between the mathematical and physical concepts, and discuss physically motivated questions about quivers.
