Abstract:

Quantum cohomology generalizes the ordinary cohomology of a manifold X by deforming the intersection product. In particular, it encodes the intersections of cycles with holomorphic curves. Quantum sheaf cohomology generalizes quantum cohomology, taking into account the data of a holomorphic vector bundle on X. I will describe this algebra and give some conjectures for its existence. Time permitting, I will discuss known computational methods.
