Mail Labels with LaTeX

The files below can be used to make peel off labels using LaTeX.

To use a laser printer you need to get labels which have an unused border area near the edges. These labels come with a variety of number of labels per pages. Usually there are two or three columns of labels and seven or ten rows. You can set these numbers in the template file (mlabels.tex). If your addresses have five lines in some labels you may have to use a smaller point size of the font, or use the labels with only seven rows per page. You may also have to adjust the size of the borders. (At times the output have actual border size which is different than the numbers set in the file. Experiment with regular paper to get these working correctly for you.)

The second file you need is the data file, which contains the actual address you want on the labels. In the template below the data file is called "address.dat" but you can change it to whatever you like. We give a sample data file to show the appropriate format for the addresses. Our sample data has five lines per address label and we use an 11 point font with 10 rows on the page.
